Melodic Mosaic
Melodic Mosaic was written for orchestra in 2007. Like the Fantasy for Wind Symphony, it is also intently focused on one melody, perhaps even more so. This motif, first introduced by a solo clarinet, is the point from which the rest of the piece unfolds, revealing a variety of orchestral color.
The piece was recorded by the Brown University Orchestra in Fall of 2007, under the direction of Eric Culver.
