Wonderland Parade
Wonderland Parade is a march for wind band and was composed in 2002. Despite its simplicity, it is the first piece of mine that has a convincing beginning, middle and end, as well as a logical progression of musical ideas. It has been performed by the Middletown High School bands in Connecticut, and the Wesleyan Wind Ensemble.
In 2006, I re-orchestrated the piece, appended a trio, and set it as the first movement of Suite No. 1, which was performed by the Brown Wind Symphony.
